What is Thai Yoga Massage?
It is a form of interactive manipulation of the body, primarily moving and stretching your body in similar to yoga positions. It has been described as 'Lazy Yoga' becuase the therapist stretches your body for you. Some clients have even been known to fall asleep during the treatment! What are the benefits of Thai Massage?

How does it work?
Three main methods are applied:
- Passive stretching
- Gentle pressure along energy lines
- Therapist uses thumbs, hands, feet, elbows and knees to stimulate energy flow
Duration - how long does each session take?
From 10 minutes to 3 hours. Two and a half hour is recommended for maximum benefit however due to the busy life style in the West, an hour and a half may be satisfactory.
What does each session involve?
Each session may vary from one to the next as it is tailored to meet your needs on the day. As the session can be from 10 minutes upwards each session involves some stretching, gentle pressing on pressure points and working various parts on the body depending on your needs and time. A full treatment would start with you lying on your back and the therapist working from your feet upwards. Feet, legs, hands, back, face and head all included in the full session.

Who will do the treatments?
Hardika and all the therapists are professionally qualified by ITEC (International Therapy Education Council) and registered with the IGPP (International Guild of Professional Practitioners)
Where does Thai Massage originate?
Thai Massage was started in India by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha about 2500 years ago. These days it is primarily practised in Thailand where it is common among all social groups and throughout the country's health care system.
Can I compare it to any other treatments?
It is a unique treatment but is most similar to acupuncture and yoga. It is often known as Thai Yoga Massage
What type of oils do you use?
There are two types one with oils and one is dry through loose clothing. Hardika specializes in the dry massage so no oils are used for Thai Masssage.
Do I wear special clothing during the treatment?
You remain fully dressed in loose or stretchy clothing. Legs need to be fully covered. No shorts
Where is the treatment carried out?
It is on a mat on the floor, in a clean and relaxing environment
